North End Law was established in October 2005 when Judith Wake and Dianne Blue commenced practice in partnership.
Located in the Bryant Road Shopping Centre on the first floor with plenty of off-street parking. Access is via the stairs on the Northern side of the building.

Judith completed a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours at the University of Waikato in 1995. She worked for three local law firms before setting up in partnership with Dianne at North End Law in 2005.
Judith specialises in all areas of property, company and commercial transactions. She has a particular interest in all areas of trust work including the formation and administration of trusts and general asset protection.
Judith enjoys an active lifestyle, playing golf, tramping and regularly attending the gym.
Dianne completed a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours at the University of Waikato in 1993. Following graduation she worked at the University for two years before joining a local law firm. Dianne worked for two Hamilton law firms before setting up North End Law in partnership with Judith in 2005.
Dianne specialises in all areas of property and commercial transactions. Her particular area of interest and specialist knowledge is in all aspects of property work, residential conveyancing and subdivisions.
Outside work Dianne’s main interests include walking, reading and heading to the beach when she gets the chance.
Janeen worked for several Hamilton law firms as a legal secretary before qualifying as a legal executive and joining North End Law. As the firm grew, Janeen was appointed as Practice Manager and took on the responsibility of all office management duties. In her role she also maintains the integrity of the trust account including managing all funds held on behalf of our clients.
Janeen enjoys being part of a close knit team, working together to achieve the best results for all our clients.
Janeen’s main interests outside work include reading, spending time at the family bach and socialising with family and friends.
Vicky worked as a legal secretary for several law firms before qualifying as a legal executive in 2001. In 2004 Vicky took a break to have a family and joined the team at North End Law in 2013. She currently works part time managing our deeds system and providing back-up support where needed.
Outside work Vicky enjoys keeping fit, gardening and spending time with her young family.
Mellissa started her career as a Legal Secretary in 2003 at a small law firm in Te Awamutu where she worked and studied to gain her qualification as a Legal Executive in 2007. Mellissa moved to Hamilton in 2008 and has worked in both large and small law firms within Hamilton practising in the areas of property, private and commercial law.
Mellissa currently works part time providing support in respect of all areas of private, property and commercial law transactions.
Outside work Mellissa's main interests are running, health and fitness, the gym and spending time with her two young sons, family and friends.
AML Compliance Officer
Robyn resigned from full time employment in 2019 and joined the North End Law team part time as the Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (AMLCO).
Her family and volunteer work keep her busy outside work hours. She is also an armchair supporter of most sports with a particular interest in motor racing.
Shelly completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours in Economics at the University of Canterbury. Shelly commenced practice in Christchurch before moving to Hamilton in 2016. She joined a major Hamilton law firm before moving to North End Law in 2020.
Shelly has a particular focus in property, commercial and corporate law and regularly provides advice and services to both corporate and individual clients on a range of legal matters including franchises, subdivisions, buying and selling businesses or property, retirement villages and commercial contracts.
Outside work Shelly's main interests include sport, scuba diving and being outdoors.
Alice completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Waikato in 2011. Before and during her studies Alice worked in the real estate industry in Australia and rural Waikato. After graduation she joined a major Hamilton law firm until moving to North End Law in 2020.
Alice has a particular focus on Trust law and regularly provides advice and services to trusts, trustees and beneficiaries. Alice also has an extensive knowledge of the equine industry and advises both corporate and individual clients in range ofequine legal matters.
Outside work Alice's main interests include horses, golf, sailing and spending time with her family.
Originally from Taranaki, Corey has completed a conjoint Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Communication Studies at the University of Waikato and graduated in December 2020. She joined North End Law as a part time Deeds assistant mid-way through 2020 but has now joined the team full time as a law clerk. Corey will be spending time with team members to learn the different areas of practice at North End Law.
She will be completing her Professional Legal Studies in 2021.
Outside work, Corey’s main interests include spending time with family and friends, reading, social sport, horses, and helping run the Hamilton City Young Farmers Club.
Bryce has recently moved to Hamilton from New Plymouth to join the team at North End Law as a Legal Executive.
Bryce completed his Legal Executive studies in 2020. Prior to becoming a Legal Executive Bryce worked as a primary school teacher in the New Plymouth region.
Bryce has a particular focus on residential conveyancing. Be it looking after first-time buyers or existing homeowners, Bryce enjoys tailoring his advice and services to suit.
Outside work Bryce's main interests are running, mountain biking, cars, dogs and spending time with his family and friends.
Fiona qualified as a Legal Executive in 2000 and has worked in law firms in the Waikato since 1995.
Fiona has a focus on all areas of residential conveyancing, refinancing and subdivisions and particularly enjoys helping first home buyers to achieve their goals.
Outside of the office Fiona can be found on a golf course, at the beach or enjoying the many river trails in and around Hamilton either on foot or bike.
